BLOG ONE DAY AT A TIME (MASTER THE DAY, MASTER YOUR LIFE) PERSONAL 0 COMMENTS Written by Harry Croose “Patience is not simply the ability to wait—it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.” - Joyce Meyer - Tweet Hi all, I hope you are well and are having a good day, I am finally back blogging I have had quite a few years of developing my goals and have now accomplished some more life experiences to share. I am hoping to post more in recent months in contribution to my YouTube Channel. (Please find on the homepage on my website).  I am now back in Business! Here to give YOU another one of my insights.  Today’s topic is something I learnt from my many months of emotional healing and self-reflection.  I am talking about the importance of  mastering each day. We can get lost in our thoughts, our habits and consequently without meaning too, lose either hours in the day or lose the quality of the time in the day that we are in. Only to regret the fact that it is already Sunday evening and we have work tomorrow. The phrase "Master your day, Master your life" actually came to me in a dream or perhaps my subconscious saved in my mind somewhere as it resonated with me a lot. I used to spend a lot of time looking to the horizon, never present in the moment, always planning and looking forward to the future, but I realised I lost a key element to the creative process which is to be in the NOW.   I am here to give you 5 strategies that helped me understand this philosphy of being present. One quick point first though, you don't have to necessarily agree with me on all points made, please read through and take whatever youfind valuable; I hope it inspires you to write and document your own thoughts, and I hope that you found it a positive and pleasant read.  1. Reflecting on your goals (plan your next few years) It is incredibly important to reflect on your goals, and not only that to act upon them. Isn't it just surprisingly how quickly time flies which is while it is pivotal to fulfilling your life objectives. Reflection is a great exercise that allows to you evaluate what you have done in your past, and what went well, and how you can improve for next time, refine your technique and be better and more professional.  Journaling is a great way, to document your stories, reflecting your thoughts and harnessing your inner power that we all have within us. With a clear detailed plan, with the right action you would be able to write the plan in the fabric of the world.  2. Remember the Present Moment (enjoy today) The present moment is something that many of us don't take into consideration enough of; we are all subject to this. The past and future are as much as it can be…

BLOG THE ART OF WAR: HOW TO WIN EVERY BATTLE     SELF-HELP      0 COMMENTS Written by Harry Croose "In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity." - Sun Tzu - Tweet Hello. I hope you are well, on this fine day. :) Today, I want to talk about 'The Art of War' and how to win each of your battles. First, we must define what 'battles' are, this could be obstacles in the ways of your goals, this could be psychological, social, financial or personal, there are many topics and definitions on what battles are, and each battle is different to everyone. This is a few helpful tips, and guides to help you deal with your battles, and not only to win but to thrive. :) 1. Choose your battles wisely. Remember to choose your battles wisely, if you have the option to avoid obstacles in your goals, it may be wiser to do so. :) There are always other ways of winning that doesn't involve you losing as much resources. (Time, energy and physical resources such as money). For example, you could learn for free on youtube, rather than spending thousands on online courses that may or may not be as valuable to your goals, and objectives.  2. Know the 'battlefield' Once you know if it is a battle worth fighting, you need to fully understand the layout of the battlefield. This metaphor of a battlefield is helpful for you to understand, as each passing day, each passing moment the environment may change. The weather, the conditions, food, and supplies for your troops, hidden areas and opportunities to suprise your enemy when they are least expecting it. The battlefield, is always changing, adapting and evolving. If you know the battlefield and your own strength than you win.  3. Plan the worst-case scenario If you plan the worse case senario, to losing this battle, and the steps to move forward even ater defeat, you will gain a hidden victory. If you plan ahead on what the battles ahead might be you may get additional insight into your own strengths, and from your apparent 'defeat' places in yourself that you need to work on. Yet do not be disheartened if you suffer defeat after defeat, if you remain patient, and cultivate your skills and change your perception on those defeats, you will be ultimatley victorious.  While you must plan the worst-case senario be motivated by the best-case senario, and let that positive vision motivate you and inspire you and your metaphorical troops to war.  4. The Internal War (feed the positive not the negative) An important fact in psychology is self-awarenss and the acknowledgement of hard truths, and in most cases the abandonment of beliefs that do not serve you, and your ideal goals. Remember, that your words and actions are the very essence of your being. Swim in positivity, but remember to always follow the current of the river, it is not easy to fight against…

BLOG 50 THINGS TO DO WHILE IN LOCKDOWN ALL       0 COMMENTS Written by Harry Croose "Lockup all your love and go and throw away the key." - Carrie Underwood - Tweet Hello, all hope you are well. Especially in these times, if you are reading in 2020, with the Coronavirus lockdown. :) I have had a few requests to write a blog post on things to do while in lockdown; luckily for you my fantastical followers, here it is. :)  Here is the long list, with an occasional elaboration, as to why I think they are possibly a great idea for you! :)I will say this however if you have to do something, limit your time watching the news and social media. Awareness is important, but an overstimulation of negative headlines can do more damage them people realise to their psychology. Also make sure that you have a routine, and that you have a variety of things to do, that you most of all enjoy, but also tasks that give you the satisfaction of working towards your goals and dreams. :)  - THE LONG LIST OF IDEAS OF THINGS TO DO -  PLAN YOUR DAY - Have a To-Do List or a Goals Journal so you have particular objectives to complete so you are not just wasting your time, apologises for the bluntness there, but you no deep down what I say has an element of truth to it, espcially if you don't have clear goals. I would recommend Google Calendar, to help with time blocking your days. DEDICATE A WORK PERIOD (per day) - Spend a few hours every day doing tasks wether that be for your Work, School or University. Just make some progress it doesn't matter how much. If you again plan far ahead, a few hours a day should be sufficent for you to get many of your tasks completed. READ BOOKS  - There are so MANY books, out there to read. :) Take advantage of Amazon (depsite the new delays), books are a testament to education and mental stimulation, that will certainly keep you entertained.Wether it be fiction or non-fiction, experimenting with different genres and authors is a fantastic idea.         LISTEN TO AUDIOBOOKS - Listening to Audiobooks, (especially from Audible), again it is amazing, and books can be obtained instantly, and can be listened to via the app. I would personally recommend The Game of Thrones Series and Harry Potter Collection for those who like fantasy. You would find thousands of books, from different genres all at very affordable prices at the moment during lockdown. WATCHING YOUTUBE - You must have a YouTube account surely, listening/watching some of your favourite YouTubers for surely give you a laugh, education or whatever you are in to! PLAYING VIDEO GAMES - Wether that be on your Xbox One, Xbox 360, WiiU, and Nintendo 3DS etc. There must be plenty of games you haven't played or haven;t visited in a long time, perhaps you should…

BLOG THE MASTER OF YOUR OWN DESTINY     SELF - HELP      0 COMMENTS Written by Harry Croose "You are the master of your destiny. You can influence, direct and control your own environment. You can make your life what you want it to be." - Napoleon Hill - We are all the Masters of our own destinies. As the water flows, we can as easily change the direction of our own personal paths. For too long with have focused too much on the unnecessary complexities of life. Jumping over hoops and completing tasks without complete consciousness of our actions. Is the very reson why we ourselves can become lost. Time flies and then you wonder where the months, and years have gone and all you can see is the fading memory of yesterday and the worried anxieties of tommorrow. But there is a greater ilusion than even this, hiding in our very design. We have been programme by society that masters are in the few.  Yet in reality we are all the masters of our own life, wether it be conscious or unconscious. The greatest concern you should have is doing things without reason and purpose. Here is some more insights on how to master your own destiny.  1. Focus solely on the Present Their is a reason as to why we are as a society are levels of aniety have increased furhter. It is not necause of the external things as many people believe. Of course, to blame an external thing like social media is a great way to trick the mind by projecting blame onto a technological trend. The problem is not social media, video game - but rather it is our inability to be present with ourselves.  the prlbem it is  when these external things re used as coping mechanisms to fill internal struggles and challenges. Allowing the focus on the present moment through things such as meditaiotn, yoga and journalling. Allow the at first challenging but later blissful abit of creating a integral path to emotional mastery - which in turn reflects on your decisions rationally - and helps raise your  psychological homostasis (normal level). Getting into the body and understanding the breath - and developing good posture can create massive changes in your life.   2. Never give up I understand things happen in life that can be to be frank absolutely terrible and disgusting.  But like the yin-yang symbol understand and reflect that no matter what goes on in your life there will be good and bad things that happen. But the difference is how you REACT to these events. One bad event, whether it is a  lover cheating, a death, a mistake by you-you have the ability under all this stress and pain to harness a hero's power. NEVER GIVING UP. These short-term negative emotions can help you build the foundation of your long-term positive paradise. I am not saying you cannot move on, or stop something that isnt working. Just…

BLOG 7 Steps to Build Confidence (Even if you're Shy)     SOCIAL      0 COMMENTS Written by Harry Croose "Confidence comes not from always being right, but not fearing to be wrong ." - Anonymous - Tweet Hey, welcome back to my blog – today we will be talking about the vital importance of building confidence. Now to many when we talk about the confidence we see someone who is extrovert, charismatic and is seemingly unmarked by negativity and criticism. However, this image of confidence is merely an illusion. Confidence can be shown externally through the means above but also through many more factors in life.  Here are 7 Steps to build confidence. 1. Create Confidence Categories Confidence to me is how one sees themselves but more particularly honed towards a person’s goals for example in social interactions, (which is the most common perception of what a confident person is).  But confidence is so much more than just someone who has master socialising but can also be with someone’s health, finance, career so on and so forth. These Confidence categories are a very important part of raising Self-Awareness as far as confidence is concerned because it can help you identify where you are strong in confidence and where you are less so.  These categories can also go into further sub-categories like health can be further broken down into more segments like nutrition and muscle gain fitness.  This may bring some further awareness to you - as someone could be easily confident in themselves when it comes to eating healthily and looking after his/her nutrition, but that same person may not be confident in muscle gain fitness.  2. Write a Goals List Writing a Goals List, in summary, would be a really good way of not only further affirming your self-awareness of your confidence level but would also give you a clear distinct direction to head in to potentially improve your confidence in certain areas of your life to improve your wellbeing, happiness and success in life. 3. Build foundational habits Building foundational habits is incredibly important for confidence building. Building habits in areas of personal strengths and weakness, such as budgeting in finance and meditation in personal wellbeing. These habits allow you to have the practise and build momentum in the areas you which to improve in your life.   4. Leap of Faith (Be courageous) Sometimes, just taking a dive outside your comfort zone, and being courageous is the quickest way to expand your horizons as far as confidence is concerned. After all, before confidence is courage. Confidence is being contented and able in your own comfort zone, courage is the act to expand your comfort zone. This is the most drastic and possibly the scariest but will get you the most results and insights even if you believe you didn’t do well.   5. Self-Education As you would research for an essay, a way to build confidence in a particular subject whether for academics or for own personal…

How To Not Care What Other People Think

BLOG HOW TO NOT CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK     SOCIAL      0 COMMENTS Written by Harry Croose "Someone's Opinion of You - does not have to become your reality." - Les Brown - Tweet For many months, now I was caught into a sneaky way of thinking, which held a lot of knocks to my Self-Esteem and confidence, but now am stronger than ever. Back in Business! Here to give YOU another one of my insights.  Today’s topic is something I learnt from my many months of emotional healing and self-reflection.  A lot of this I’d discovered was that I was caring too much of the opinions of others. Now be careful now don’t take it literally, this phrase is often used when we are essentially fed up, but that is used in a mental framework of a victim. However, this phrase can also be used in as a way of releasing unnecessarily burdens that either you or others have placed on you.  I am here to give you 5 strategies that helped me get over this wall. One quick point first though, remember that other people’s opinions can still have large benefits. Just remember that their opinions do not define who you are. 1. Focus on yourself and your Needs There is an annoying stigma in society, that if you are selfless you are great and if you are selfish you are a horrible person. This form of assumption, that allows unkind people to take advantage of you – due to your social complexes on ‘what is right’. How to solve this would be to solely focus on yourself. I know right so selfish! But you need to fill your own cup first as it were, before you start helping others. I am not saying to go out your way to be unkind to someone (even if they deserve it) but merely to prioritise yourself other everything else, and yes even your family. The more you invest in yourself today – the more you will be able to help them in the future. In fact, helping yourself first will likely mean you will be in a much better position to help others more so then even if you were too selfless of your own needs and desires. This topic is such a big one that I have wrote a separate blog post here – How to fulfil your needs. 2. Establish Strong Independent Boundaries Establish concrete boundaries in different areas of your life. Whether that be in the realms of love, relationships, friendships, money, emotions, psychology and so on. This mind does not necessarily come from a lack of confidence or self-esteem. I believe that a lack of secure boundaries in these sections of oneself can be one of many reasons that a lack of confidence/ self-esteem continues to manifest in your life. How does this relate to how to not care what other people think? Well, people with what are considered to be weaker boundaries…

BLOG THE WORLD NEEDS MORE HEROES SELF - HELP  0 COMMENTS Written by Harry Croose "Hating on someone, or something is only giving power to that thing. It becomes a bigger problem in your mind. It's okay to dislike something, but never hate it - you only lose your power and time." - Harry Croose - Tweet Hello reader, I hope you are well as always! Today, I would like to ramble on a bit about the importance of ‘heroes’, but I don’t mean the kind like Batman or Superman. I’m talking about the hero that is hiding within us, in the corner of our eye or behind your shadow. The hero that lives within us all, that we choose to ignore. Why do we choose to ignore it? You may ask. Well the answer is because of fear and social constructs, I have lived a short life so far me being relatively young in age and yet I feel much older in experience and wisdom. I do not want to live a life where I haven’t tried to live the life that I want. To be hero is to go against the current of society while being true to yourself. We ignore this path because we are scared of being social outcasts, scared of being alone. But I’ve found that if you repress what you truly feel is right it will only destroy you. Then you become part of ‘the herd’ – the majority of people who are not happy where the work, not happy in their relationships, not happy financially; not happy in life. I speak in absolutes here not to say everyone is unhappy as there are many shades of grey. I say this to show you that the majority of people are not happy because they didn’t take the action to carve their own path in this world. They settled with being told what to do, being told what was right without listening to their internal compass. You must become a hero to yourself, before anyone else. Once you are ready to give you will be able to provide and inspire tens, thousands to millions of people if you let it so. A hard pill to swallow is that you and you alone are responsible for everything that happens in your life. It is easy to take responsibility for the good things that happen to you like a good grade on a test, or a job promotion. But it is much more difficult to take responsibility for the bad things you have done in your life. Do yourself a favour and forgive yourself or those that you think has wronged you and move on towards your future. You need to have the vision and believe in yourself to walk the path of a hero. Some days it will be ‘a walk in the park’ other days you will want to give up and cry. But wipe away the tears and remember why you went on the…

BLOG 4 STEPS TO DEALING WITH HATERS Written by Harry Croose "Hating on someone, or something is only giving power to that thing. It becomes a bigger problem in your mind. It's okay to dislike something, but never hate it - you only lose your power and time." - Harry Croose - Tweet 1. Accepting that Haters are everywhere. Basically, if you are a hater why are you here. To plot your revenge, to comment under one of my blog posts or YouTube Videos because I upset you; or are you here to eat my chocolate cheesecake because the last one is definitely crossing the line.  Also hyperlinks can be very useful. 2. Understand why they Hate There was a time where I actually paid attention to these individuals who sit down in life and have nothing better to do than complain and shout at you for doing 'the wrong thing' or 'that you are weird' . Well here is a reality check for those of you that are haters of my work, look at yourself. What are you doing and contributing to the world? You can't say anything to me or too anyone at that if you are not following your own path and are merely following the masses, because you are still scared that you might fail. 3. Re-frame the situation. I don't hate you if you are a hater, I respect that you have an opinion; but to waste your precious time on this earth which as you read this (by the way I appreciate) you will loses this seconds forever. Instead of complaining or being a victim 100% of the time, harness your energy to things that could actually change your life. Direct your energy away from your haters and invest it into yourself  Understand that it isn't about you, it is about them. 4. Maintain distance to your haters. There was a time where I was a hater of people who seemed to have it better than me, but when I started to stop comparing myself to others. I felt so much more free and had a tenfold more time and energy to make the impact I want to make on the world. I am not giving up not now, I will never give up. I am not stopping just because my crush no longer likes me, I am not stopping because I haven't got 50 likes on YouTube or 1000 subscribers I am going to keep pushing ahead; we must together keep pushing forward that is the only way we will truly reach the land we were promised off when we were read a bedtime story with a nice cup of hot chocolate. Dreams can come true, and no matter where you are in life or how far you think your behind; you can make it. I believe in you. Lovers always Win.  SHARE THIS Share on facebook Facebook Share on google Google+ Share on twitter Twitter Share on linkedin LinkedIn Share on pinterest Pinterest Subscribe to…

BLOG THE POWER OF IMAGINATION SELF - HELP  0 COMMENTS Written by Harry Croose "Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age and dreams our forever." - Walt Disney - Tweet Imagination is such a vital skill as without Imagination the many giants that are world has ever known such as the Roman Empire, The construction of America, the many artists and musicians with their paintings and music compositions.  Without imagination every little child wouldn’t be able to be immersed in stories, thus how we deem entertainment would be very primitive only showing in a basic biological provenance. Without we would not be able to evolve and adapt our environment and thus create the reality we see today. All scientific discoveries such as Gravity, as well as technological advances such as the printing press and then much more recently in our history technology. Imagination is the essential power of the Universe, the power to see things before they truly happen if viewed from that perspective you could say that imagination can be the prominent predictor of how successful someone will be; however nothing is set in stone.      Main constructs of today like money, politics and education would all be lost to time if we din’t have the facilities in our mind, body and soul to imagine these complex constructs. Every construct I agree has a very simple foundation, but if we could not build upon it or have the initiative and creativity to expand our ideas we would still be in the ages of long ago. We would be long gone to time and maybe even instinct.  We are only here because of the unity we all have, the connection that we all have to each other as a human race I know in recent times some groups are still in conflict but at the end of the day we still have a connection positive or negative and in a way we all need each other, friend to enemy or lover to lover. Without the conflict to disagree imagination can not be sparked. I see imagination like a spinning tornado but rather than destroying the environment it constructs and in a way gives the world a new lease of life.  This is why we need awesome people like you. people who are incredibly brave and courageous to follow their heart to follow their dreams to go out there and change the world, to shape the world by how you envisioned it, but before I leave you remember that we are all mortal and that legacy is significant and a great purpose to strive for but love for our families, our friends, our enemies, is the most important thing of all. Live life by the guidance of love, and your imagination will take you to extraordinary heights.  I wish you well!!!!! I will speak to you soon!!!
